| FRESHMAN STUDENT | Persons seeking admission who have not previously attended any college or university (or who have fewer than 15 semester hours of transfer credit.) | TRANSFER STUDENT | Persons seeking admission whom have previously been enrolled in one or more institutions of higher education. Application and Fee College Transcript(s) (from each college or university attended) High School Transcripts or G.E.D. Scores SAT or ACT Scores Immunization Record for Mumps, Measles, and Rubella (MMR) |
| SPECIAL STUDENT | Persons who have earned an associate or high degree from a regionally accredited school recognized by the University System of Georgia and who do not wish to obtain an additional degree at Atlanta Metropolitan College (Any student seeking a degree must meet Transfer Student requirements). | NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT | Persons seeking admission whose high school class would have graduated five years prior to the semester of enrollment.
